Terms of use
These terms cover anyone who reads Betting Tips Kenya or uses its odds converter. In short: the site is for adults in Kenya, it gives information rather than advice, and it offers no gambling service of any kind.
Who the site is for
Adults in Kenya. Gambling is for people of the age of majority, which in Kenya is eighteen; the 2026 Conduct of Gambling Operations Regulations (L.N. 112 r.92) treat persons under eighteen as minors, and section 109 of the Gambling Control Act, 2025 makes betting with a child an offence. If you are under eighteen, the site is not meant for you.
Information, not advice
The pages explain odds, margins, tipster records and the law in general terms. They are not legal, financial or tax advice, and they are not tips. Whether to bet, how much and where are your decisions. Nothing here tells you to bet, and no page should be read as saying that a particular result is likely enough to back.
The converter and the numbers
- Every calculation on the site, including the odds converter and its tables, is an illustrative example. Results are rounded, and the converter shows price times stake before tax.
- The odds, rules and terms an operator displays for your bet are the ones that apply. A licensee must display them clearly and may not change a bet's terms once it is accepted (L.N. 112 r.23).
- The law as published prevails over any summary here. Where a page quotes the regulator's list of licensed gaming companies, the regulator's live page prevails over the copy on this site, which is a snapshot taken on a stated date.
- Tax figures are given as at the date shown on each page; the Acts themselves and the Kenya Revenue Authority prevail.
No gambling services
Section 28(1) of the Act says no gambling activity or service may be offered in Kenya unless it is licensed under the Act. This site offers none: it takes no bets, holds no money, opens no accounts and sells no tips.
Operators and other sites
The site has no relationship with any bookmaker, casino or tipster and does not link to them. It is not responsible for what an operator does with your bets, money or data; those questions go to the operator and then to the Gambling Regulatory Authority, as the contact page sets out. Links to official sources, such as the regulator, Kenya Law, the Kenya Revenue Authority and the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, are there so you can read the primary text; this site does not control those pages.
Using what you read here
You may quote a short passage with a link back to the page it came from. Please do not copy whole pages, and do not use anything from this site to advertise or promote gambling, which in any case needs the Authority's approval under section 87(1) of the Act.
Changes to these terms
The terms may change as the site changes, for example when it leaves demo status. The date at the top of this page is the date of the last change, and a change applies from that date onwards.
