Contact

This page says how to reach the people behind Betting Tips Kenya and, more usefully for most questions, where else to go. Most questions about a bet are ones only an operator or the regulator can answer.

The honest position

The site is in demo status. The publisher's legal entity and contact channel have not been published, so there is no e-mail address, phone number or form on this page, and no reply time is promised. When a channel is published it will appear at the top of this page with the date it opened. Until then nothing on this site asks for your name, number or e-mail, and a message that claims to come from Betting Tips Kenya and asks you for money or personal details did not come from this site.

What a message here can help with

  • A figure, date or section number on a page that looks wrong or out of date.
  • A sum in the converter or in a worked example that does not add up.
  • A primary source a page should have read, such as a new regulation or a notice from the regulator.
  • A sentence that reads like promotion or like advice to bet.

It cannot help with a bet, an account, a payout, a dispute with an operator or a request for tips. The site is neither an operator nor the regulator, so it has no say over any of those.

Where to take your question

If your question is about this, go here
Your questionThe right placeWhy
A bet, a payout or your accountThe operator's customer care centreEvery online operator must keep a customer care centre in Kenya (s.68(8)). A matter still unresolved after 72 hours, or one you ask in writing to escalate, goes to the Authority (L.N. 112 r.9(2)(e)).
A complaint the operator has not settledThe Gambling Regulatory AuthorityReceiving and deciding complaints from the public is one of its functions (s.10(m)). Its toll-free line, as shown on the regulator's website, is 0800-723-770.
A decision of the Authority, or an online gambling disputeThe Gambling Appeals TribunalSet up by section 88 of the Act. A party to an online gambling dispute may appeal within 14 days (s.80), but the Authority's own mechanisms have to be used first (L.N. 115 r.18).
Stopping yourself from bettingSelf-exclusion, with the operator or through the AuthoritySection 115 of the Act and L.N. 112 r.70. The form offers six months, one year, two years or an indefinite period; help and limits sets out the steps.
Personal data an operator holds about youThe operator, then the Office of the Data Protection CommissionerYour rights are in section 26 of the Data Protection Act 2019; complaints go to the Data Commissioner under section 56.
Whether an operator is licensedThe regulator's published listHeaded "Licensed Gaming Companies for the Trading Period 2025/26" on the regulator's website.

If betting itself is the problem

You do not need this site for that. Call the regulator's toll-free line on 0800-723-770, as shown on the regulator's website, or read help and limits for self-exclusion and the deposit limits every licensee must offer.

A note for operators and tipsters

The site does not accept payment, free bets, hospitality or any other benefit for coverage, for a link, for a better place on a page or for removing a fact. It does not publish press releases, offers or promotional material, most of which would need the Authority's approval under section 87(1) of the Act in any case. If a page states something wrong about your licence or your terms, the route is the same as for any reader: the correction process, once a channel is published, with the primary document that shows the error.
