Privacy

The short version: this site has no forms or accounts. Since 2 November 2026 it runs Google Analytics 4, which sets analytics cookies only if you allow them. The rest of the page explains what the analytics tag sends to Google and what the server itself records.

What this site does not collect

  • No advertising cookies. The only cookies are the analytics cookies described below, and only if you allow them.
  • No advertising tracking. No advertising pixel or fingerprinting script runs here. The one measurement tool is Google Analytics, described below.
  • No forms, accounts or comments. There is nothing to sign up for and nowhere to type your name, phone number or e-mail.
  • One outside request. Fonts and images come from this domain. The Google Analytics script is the only thing loaded from elsewhere.
  • Nothing from the converter. The odds you type into the converter are worked out in your browser and never sent to the server, and they are not part of what the analytics tag sends.

Google Analytics

Since 2 November 2026 every page loads the Google Analytics 4 tag from googletagmanager.com. It runs in Google's consent mode, and advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are always set to "denied".

A bar at the bottom of every page offers two choices, "Allow analytics cookies" and "Decline", with a link to this page.

  • No choice yet, or Decline. No analytics cookie is stored. The tag still sends Google cookieless page-view signals: the page address, the time, and details of your browser and device.
  • Allow. First-party cookies whose names begin with _ga are set so that repeat visits can be recognised.

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key ga-consent. You can change your analytics choice at any time.

Google processes what it receives under its own privacy policy. Google may process it outside Kenya.

What the server records

Like any web server, the one that delivers these pages can keep a standard access log: the IP address that asked for a page, the date and time, the page requested, the browser's user-agent string and the page you came from. Those lines serve only to keep the site running and to deal with abuse, never to build a profile of a reader or to sell. The hosting arrangement and how long logs are kept have not been published yet, because the site is in demo status; this section will state both when they are.

Third parties

One: Google, through the analytics tag described above. No advertiser, bookmaker or data broker receives anything from this site.

Your rights under the Data Protection Act 2019

Section 26 of the Act gives you the right to be told how your personal data is used, to access it, to object to its processing, and to have false or misleading data corrected or deleted. If you think anyone has handled your data wrongly, you may complain to the Data Commissioner orally or in writing under section 56, and the complaint must be investigated and concluded within 90 days. The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner explains how.

A request about data held by this site will go to the publisher's contact channel once that is published. Until then the site holds no account or form data about you to ask for; analytics data goes to Google, as set out above.

Betting operators and your data

Operators are a different matter. Before anyone can bet online, an operator must check identity, location and age (L.N. 112 r.82), so a betting account holds a copy of your ID and your payment details. The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner publishes a register of data handlers that you can search to see whether an operator is registered with it. Your section 26 rights apply to the operator in the same way.

Changes to this page

2 November 2026: Google Analytics was switched on, as described above. Any other tool that collects data will be described on this page before it goes live.
