Corrections
Pages here deal in numbers, dates and section references, and any of them can be wrong. This page says what counts as an error, how to report one and how every fix is recorded.
What counts as an error
- A figure, date or amount that does not match its primary source.
- A section, regulation or legal notice that is wrong or has been replaced.
- A sum in a worked example, a table or the odds converter that does not add up.
- A source that does not say what the page says it does.
- A broken link, or a link that should not be there, such as one to an operator.
- A sentence that reads as promotion or as advice to bet.
Not an error: disagreeing with the law itself, asking for a bookmaker to be added, or asking for a tip.
How to report one
The site is in demo status and its contact channel has not been published yet, so there is no address to write to today. When one opens, the contact page will give it, with the date. A useful report has three parts:
- the address of the page;
- the sentence or number you think is wrong;
- what you think is correct, and the document that shows it, with its section number or page.
Your name is not needed, and neither is anything else about you.
What happens next
The claim is checked against the primary source, not against another website. If the page is wrong, it is fixed, its updated date changes, and a line is added to the log below with the date, the page and what changed. If the page is right, it stays as it is. No reply time is promised while the site has no published channel.
A change of fact, figure, legal reference or calculation always gets a log line. A spelling or layout fix does not.
Changes in the law are not corrections
When the law changes, pages are updated to match and their date moves; that is upkeep, not a correction. Excise duty is an example: from 1 July 2026 section 36 of the Finance Act, 2026 reworded the betting excise base from money deposited into a customer's betting wallet to money deposited for betting purposes. A page written before then would be updated, not logged, unless it was already wrong on the day it went live.
